Student Policy

Woof! Canine Courses is a part of the affiliate program conducted by The International School of Veterinary Nursing (TISOVN). TISOVN is internationally recognised and accredited through the IAPCC.

Fees and Charges:

Payments for the courses are made via bank transfer. Students are not considered enrolled in a course, nor eligible for the issue of certificates and transcripts, until the required fee is paid.

Assessment:

To pass assessments students must demonstrate that they have a strong understanding of the content. Our Assessors will provide feedback to guide all resubmissions and are available for contact if required. Students will be allowed to attempt the assessment multiple times; however, assessors will work with the students in any area identified as needing assistance. If students have concerns regarding their feedback or have further questions, they shall email woofcaninecourses@outlook.com requesting for a meeting, which will be conducted at a time both parties have agreed. Students are expected to submit a minimum of one (1) assessment item per month.

Dishonest Student Conduct:

Cheating is the dishonest presentation of an assessment task or activity as demonstrating your own understanding of and/or ability in the subject concerned. Examples of cheating include but not limited by the following:

Submitting someone else’s work as your own

Allowing someone else to submit your work as theirs

If evidence of cheating is established, the student will be contacted to outline the concerns with their submitted work. The student will be given three working days to respond to any allegations of cheating or plagiarism. If established that the student has engaged in cheating or plagiarism, they will be given a formal warning and asked to resubmit the assessment work. Depending on the severity of each case, student enrolment may be terminated in which all fees paid are forfeit and non-refundable.

Inappropriate Student Conduct:

Students may not engage in harassment or discriminatory conduct during training. Discrimination is when a party treats another party less favourable than another based on factors such as gender, age, race and religion etc. Harassment is when a student engages in behaviour that is unwelcome or offend, humiliates or intimidates others. Any breaches of these standards will result in the student receiving a formal warning. Further breaches and severe cases may result in students enrolment being terminated, which all fees paid are non-refundable.
